The perfect breakfast-on-the-go or healthy snack, this nutrient- and protein-packed smoothie comes courtesy of chef and nutritionist Teresa Cutter, aka The Healthy Chef, and author of the cookbook Purely Delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups coconut water (or the juice and flesh of one fresh young coconut)

  • 1 small ripe banana, frozen

  • 2 tbsp protein powder

  • ½–1 tsp organic matcha*

  • 1 tsp tahini

  • ½ cup ice

Method

  1. Combine coconut water, banana, protein powder, matcha, tahini and ice.

    Blend until smooth and creamy.

    Serve immediately and enjoy.
